This Week in Art

These last few months have been hard ones. We have been kept afloat by the prayers of so many of you, the cards, the gifts in the mail, the money gifts and gas cards, the messages. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You have been such blessings to us! I am thankful for every one of you.  I am tired all the time but feel pretty good otherwise. I am halfway through the chemo treatments. Many of you know during this time we have decided to move from Maine down to Georgia. Probably not the best time for such a huge decision. We are waiting until after my last chemo round. Our house here in Maine has been sold and the new people are willing to wait to take occupancy until the end of August. Fingers crossed and prayers going up we find the house God has intended for us in Georgia. And that updates you on us. A Long Time Coming

  It's February since I posted last. That is a long time. But I haven't been sitting idly, I have been sitting getting well. I was so sick for so long. In and out of the hospital five or six times and now I am battling cancer with every weapon I have. And many of you have been praying for me daily. Thank you, I believe in the power of prayer. Don't stop now, God isn't finished with this season yet but I am hopeful that He and I will escape victorious.  These are a few of the things I have been able to complete along the way. And just making this post is a challenge because I don't remember all the steps to posting one. Being on medications for so long caused memory losses here and there. I hope they return one day.  I made this for ICAD, Index Card a Day. Happens every June and July. The thought is to make some kind of art on an index card each day of those two months.
