Bristol and Ecoline
Roughly 9" x 12" in size, I have been tangling on this piece off and on for months now. I was not allowing myself much tangle time while I was working on Life in Tangles, but now that the book has published I have time for myself again.
I began with a piece of Bristol Illustration paper from Hahnemühle. I really love this paper for drawing on. Its smoothness is perfect with my pens. The color came from Ecoline Brush Pens that I applied using my smoosh technique with water. For patterns I held myself to just three: diva dance rock 'n roll, printemps (of course), crescent moon and arukas. Actually I guess that is four. Hahahahaha! (And I see my signature chop in there at least twice.)
For the pen work I used technical drawing pens from Zebra Pen. To complete the piece, I went back to the Ecoline brush pens and used a water brush to add some shading. The white accents are from a Uniball Gel Pen. Now it's time to pull out the gelli plates and make a little gelli fun happen! Hopefully I will have something to show you soon.

I love the way you have yellow Arukas stars shining brightly from the whole - & yes, I did find both signature chops.
