Hahnemühle's 2022 Calendar Competition

Everyone loves a good competition and artists are no exception. Each year about this time Hahnemühle holds a competition for painted artworks to grace the pages of their next year's calendar. The theme and rules for the 2023 Calendar just went live and you, yes you, can get creative and enter.

This year's theme is Colours of the Earth and I am really liking the ones they used in their promo! You know I do! Want to hear a little more? Here is what Hahnemühle says about the competition on their website:

The beauty of the earth in its breathtaking blaze of colours offers a variety of motifs: whether orange glowing deserts, the bright red protruding Uluru Rock, the Canadian Indian Summer, or the ocean with its numerous shades of blue. Plants in their varied colours and habitats, but also bright spices, colourful traditional costumes, and the deep, dark, starry night, they all stand for the colours of the Earth. And there is so much more. Every country, every region has an immense wealth of colours. Show us your colours of the earth!

Have I caught your interest? You can read more about the terms and conditions, see the flyer and upload your artworks by clicking here. The deadline is May 31, 2022. Good luck!

    1. Unfortunately I have found that getting older means it takes longer to recover from having fun
